Allen Heritage Center

The Allen Heritage Center, 100 E. Main, is the perfect stop for visitors with an interest in history. The heritage center is a replica of the Houston & Texas Central Railway Company depot that was constructed in Allen in 1918.

Visitors also can watch the Tales of Allen series while visiting the center. The Tales of Collection includes: A Short History of Allen, St. Mary Baptist Church, Collin County Old Stone Dam, Allen Telephone Company, Historic Allen Cemetary, The Sam Bass Gang - First Train Robbery in Texas, and Interurban Railway.
