Stephen Terrell
Mayor
Term: 2008-2011
Appointed as Mayor in 1997, Mayor Terrell was re-elected in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2005 and 2008.
Mayor Terrell and his wife, Sally, have been residents of Allen since 1980. They have a daughter and son. They are co-owners of Terrell’s Drycleaning.
Serves as Council Representative to the following:
- Mayor’s Committee (since 1997)
- NCTCOG Executive Board (since 2009)
- Voting Representative, NCTCOG (since 2000)
- Voting Representative, Dallas Regional Mobility Committee (DRMC) (since 2008)
Past Member of:
- City Council, Place No. 5 (1991-97)
- Library Facility Oversight Committee (2002-03)
- Voting Representative, DRMC (through 2006)
- Allen Community Development Corporation (1996-97)
- Allen Industrial Development Corporation (1992)
