Teen Programs

Welcome to Teen’scape

The library features an area that is designed to meet the needs of older youth and teens. This dedicated space is called Teen’scape and it offers a retreat-like environment that includes individual listening stations, comfortable chairs and furnishings, and reading and audio selections specific to teen interests.

In addition to a dedicated space at the library, we offer all types of programs and activities such as teen author presentations, mystery plays, movie series, and special demonstrations.

Young Adult Writers' Alliance

If you like to write and want feedback on your writing skills, consider joining the Young Adult Writers' Alliance (YAWA).We meet every Tuesday, 4-6 p.m. in the meeting room at the library. The group is open to ages 13 to 18. We offer a relaxed environment for peer review and discussion of original works. New writers always welcome. For more information, contact: YAWA.
