How to Pay

The City of Allen now offers online bill payment in addition to payment by mail, in person at City Hall, night drop boxes, and automatic bank drafting and bill averaging.

Payments can be made in the following methods:

Online Bill Payment

Online bill payment can be made by electronic credit or debit card anytime of the day, 7 days a week.. Online bill payment requires a simple one time registration process which secures access to your water bill statements (current plus three months previous). You will receive email notifications when statements are available online. Information on the site also includes details on how to read your water bill. Sign up now!

Night Drop

The drive-through secured drop box is located in the parking lot of City Hall at 305 Century Parkway, at the northern portion of the parking lot, just south of the Municipal Court/Parks & Recreation Building.

Automatic Bank Draft

Utility bills can be paid through automatic draft service. The City of Allen offers an easy and convenient way to pay your utility bill. Through bank drafting, your monthly utility bill is withdrawn automatically from your checking/savings account. You will continue to receive a monthly statement showing your current charges. Because payment is automatic, there are no late fees or postage costs.

Complete the bank draft authorization form and turn it into the Utility Billing Office.

 

 

Bill Averaging

Average utility billing allows customers to pay the same amount for their water bill each month over an eleven-month period with the twelfth month as the “settle-up” month.  The monthly rate is established based on water usage over the previous twelve months. Each average utility billing customer continues to receive a monthly City utility bill, but the customer pays through automatic bank draft on the date the bill is due.

Enrollment for bill averaging is offered once a year during the month of September.
