Engineering Department is committed to developing a solid foundation for the future.

Welcome to the City of Allen Engineering Department’s web page. The department provides architectural, planning and engineering services for the City’s infrastructure and facilities including buildings, streets, traffic signals, drainage, water and wastewater. In addition to the implementation of the capital improvement program, the department insures that all traffic signalization is operating safely and efficiently to move vehicular traffic through the community and provide inspection services for public and development construction projects.
