We are pleased to be able to offer you access to the TexShare Databases. These databases, or electronic sources of information, are paid for by the Texas State Library and the Telecommunications Infrastructure Board. This "Library of Texas" allows users to find full-text articles in encyclopedias, almanacs, journals and newspapers. The databases cover a diverse area of subjects. For instance some of the databases include homework help for students, health information, business information, biography and genealogy information, literature, and information about books and articles. The Texas Department of Health Audiovisual Library circulates materials throughout Texas for a short time basis. They have health related ½" VHS video, CD-ROMs, slides, audiocassettes, educational models, charts, and 16mm film. There are some Spanish and bilingual (English and Spanish) materials. There is no charge for Texas residents to borrow from our library except for return shipping charges.
