Planning and Development is committed to creating a high quality, sustainable community by establishing and managing the standards for development. Specific activities include short and long term planning for commercial and residential development, oversight of the Geographical Information System, administration of the Community Development Block Grant, zoning and code compliance. The department also produces an annual demographics guide called Facts & Figures.
