Background investigator, school resource officer and S.W.A.T. are just a sample of the many rewarding careers available. Candidates receive salary and benefits while attending the Police Academy and, in addition to paid vacation and holidays, life, health and dental insurance, we offer participation in the Texas Municipal Retirement System, education reimbursement, in-house TCLEOSE training, and certification pay.
