The Public and Media Relations Office provides information about City government and services to residents and the media. Activities include production of quarterly newsletter, annual report, and e-news publications; operation of the the award-winning government access channel, Allen City Television (ACTV); and response to media requests. The office assists with special events and works with other departments to promote education and outreach initiatives.

While the primary goal of the Public and Media Relations Office is to promote City services, activities and events, we will provide information relevant to our residents from other organizations that work in partnership with the City.
This information will be included in the ACTV Community Bulletin Board and through the Community Calendar.
Requests submitted under the Public Information Act are handled by the City Secretary. Requests can be submitted by mail, fax, email or in person. All requests should include enough description and detail about the information requested to enable the City to accurately identify and locate the information requested.
