A welcoming place to inspire the mind – be sure to stop by the Allen Public Library and Civic Auditorium, 300 N. Allen Drive. Dedicated to being a cultural hub in the North Texas region, the library hosts numerous special exhibits, cultural shows, and guest scholars and authors.
The Allen Public Library has been honored to host programs such as the Marion Anderson Quartet, Bad Dog, Marley! illustrator, Richard Cowdrey, Pianist Señor Domenico Codispoti, Egyptologist Dr. Karl Kilinski, Jazz artist Eddie McWoods, popular children's performer David Chicken, and the internationally renown Dallas Black Dance Theater.
